  • cups milk
  • 8 ounces pasta linguini suggested
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

Notes

To lighten the dish, you may substitute additional milk for some of the heavy cream.
Any pasta variety may be used depending on your preference.
Consider adding grilled chicken or sautéed mushrooms to introduce a protein element.
