Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal 84 grams
  • 3 cups milk or semisweet chocolate chips 510 grams
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter 85 grams or ¾ stick

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, ensuring the sides are lightly coated with nonstick butter spray. Set aside.
  • In a large pan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the chocolate chips and stir continuously until the chocolate has fully melted and combined with the butter.
  • Remove the pan from heat. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal and kosher salt, ensuring the mixture is evenly combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly across the surface.
  • Allow the bars to cool and set for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.

Notes

Storage: Keep the crunch bars in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. These bars can also be frozen for up to 3 months for extended storage.
