Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 pound imitation crab meat flaked or sticks sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped, plus extra for garnish
  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons finely diced red onion

Instructions

  • Combine the imitation crab, celery, red onion, mayonnaise, dill, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl and fold together gently until thoroughly coated. Serve at once, or cover and refrigerate for up to two days. Garnish with extra chopped fresh dill if desired.

Notes

Opt for imitation crab flakes for convenience, or slice stick-style pieces if preferred. Fresh crab may be substituted if available. For best flavor, fresh dill is recommended over dried; however, if using dried dill, replace with 1/2 teaspoon. Low-fat mayonnaise is an acceptable alternative if desired.
