  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 15 oz. can fire-roasted tomatoes with their juices
  • 3-4 garlic cloves finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or 1 ½ tablespoons fresh
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil or 1 ½ tablespoons fresh

Instructions

  • Warm a small amount of olive oil in a skillet set over medium heat, then add the minced garlic and cook until its fragrance is released, approximately 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Promptly transfer the sautéed garlic into a blender. Incorporate all remaining ingredients into the blender and process until you reach your preferred texture, keeping it slightly chunky if desired.
