Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas peeled
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar optional, based on sweetness preference
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes as desired

Instructions

  • Peel and slice the bananas, placing them into a blender. Add the milk, honey or sugar if using, vanilla extract, and a few ice cubes. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and frothy. Pour immediately into a chilled glass and serve cold.

Notes

For a thicker consistency, use frozen banana slices or reduce the amount of milk. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a dollop of whipped cream.
