Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F). In a mixing bowl, combine baking powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar, stirring until uniformly blended. Thoroughly pat dry the chicken drumsticks using paper towels. Roll the drumsticks in the prepared seasoning mixture, ensuring each piece is evenly coated, then drizzle with olive oil and toss again to distribute. Arrange the drumsticks in a single layer within the air fryer basket. Cook for 8 minutes, turn each piece, and continue cooking for an additional 6–8 minutes until fully cooked through and the skin is crisp. Serve immediately alongside your preferred accompaniments.

TO FREEZE: Place cooled drumsticks in a zip-top freezer bag and store for up to 3 months.
TO REHEAT: Warm in the microwave for 20–30 seconds or return to the air fryer until hot and crispy.
