  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Instructions
  • Trim the roots from the Brussels sprouts and slice each in half vertically, then place them into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the neutral-flavored oil over the sprouts, then sprinkle in the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and honey. Toss thoroughly to ensure every piece is evenly coated. Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket, removing any loose leaves to prevent burning. Cook in the air fryer at 400°F for 12–14 minutes, then shake the basket well to redistribute the sprouts. Return to the air fryer and cook for an additional 8–10 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of crispiness.

Notes

Uniform Sizes: Select Brussels sprouts of similar size for even cooking and consistent crisping. Significant size variation can result in uneven doneness.
Monitor Closely: Air fryers can vary; check on your sprouts as they cook to achieve your ideal crispness. Adjust cooking time if you prefer a lighter or darker finish.
Shake for Evenness: Give the basket a good shake midway to help the sprouts cook uniformly on all sides.
Use Ample Oil: A generous coating of oil ensures maximum crispiness; don’t hesitate to add a bit more if needed.
