Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 5 –6 boneless skinless chicken thighs, thoroughly patted dry
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  • Use a paper towel to dry the chicken thighs well and place them in a mixing bowl.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine the garlic powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add the seasoning mixture to the chicken and toss thoroughly by hand to ensure each thigh is well coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F; this typically takes about 3 minutes. Arrange the thighs smooth side down in the basket, then mist the tops lightly with nonstick spray or olive oil spray. Cook at 380°F for 12 minutes.
  • After the initial cook, flip the chicken pieces using tongs and return to the air fryer. Continue cooking for an additional 6 to 8 minutes or until the internal temperature indicates the chicken is thoroughly cooked through.
